Sensory Neurone has circular cell body. It has:
- One long nerve fibre extending towards the receptor
- Short nerve fibre extending towards the relay neurone in the central nervous system.
Function
- transmit nerve impulses from the receptor or the sense organ to the relay neurone in the CNS
