• Reduce use of fossil fuels use renewable sources of energy like solar energy and wind
  • Reduce energy consumption. Save electricity by using more efficient devices e.g. use of LED bulbs
  • Replace petrol powered vehicles with hybrid / electric vehicles.
  • Reduce daily consumption of electricity, water, paper and plastic.

Forest Management:

  • Conservation of forest disruption of natural cycles such a carbon cycle can be prevented, and this helps to prevent global warming
  • Indiscriminate felling of trees should be prevented
  • Reforestation: new seedlings - can be planted replace trees that have been removed or destroyed
  • Control of forest fires: some forest fires are man made. People set fires - clear forests and provide land for agriculture. This must be prevented
  • Education programs - conducted make people aware of the important of forests to our lives + methods by which forests can be conserved.
