During Relocation of migrant workers into HDB estates → WIMBY volunteers:
- engaged singaporeans → to write notes to welcome migrant workers into neighbourhoods.
- Notes were translated in their native languages of migrant workers → convey appreciation for their contribution to Singapore.
WIMBY:
- organised several initiatives → encourage interaction → between Singaporeans and migrant workers.
- one such initiative → partnering schools in their Value in action programmes → address issues facing immigrant workers.
