Understanding
Ammonia is 1 of the most commonly produced industrial chemicals. abt 80% of the ammonia produced is used for making fertilisers. also used in the manufacture of plastics, explosives, textiles, dyes and other chemicals. can also be found in cleaning solutions for glass and bathroom tiles, and for removing stains from clothes

Some Reversible Reactions
Reversible and Irreversible Reactions
Sample
why is air not used as raw material during haber process
- air is a mixture of many gases like oxygen and nitrogen.
- hjence oxygen can reactr with hydrogen to form water if air is used during haber process
- nitrogen reacts with oxygen to form oxides of nitrogen
- air contains oxygen which oxidises iron catalyst to iron(II)oxide or iron(III)oxide
- iron react with oxygen and water and rusting occurs
