Definition
Inertia of an object refers to the reluctance of the object to change its state of rest or motion, due to its mass. #PhysicsDefinitions
Mass ⇒ is the property that resists the change of motion (inertia). * Objects with greater mass will have greater intertia
Larger the mass of the object, harder it will be for an object to:
- start moving
- slow down
- move faster
- change direction
Always state: due to body’s inertia ⇒ it wants to continue moving forward at a constant velocity as before in a straight line
